We want to know how you feel about jury service.

The Harris County District Clerk, Marilyn Burgess, is asking you to take part in a survey about jury service. Both the Constitution of the United States and the Texas Constitution guarantee the right to a trial by a jury of one's peers. In Harris County, the District Clerk is in charge of calling, or summoning, potential jurors to serve on juries. But for many people, serving on a jury can be difficult. District Clerk Burgess is seeking your feedback about jury service in order to make serving on a jury easier and fairer for everyone in Harris County.

The survey will take less than ten minutes.

Answer questions to the best of your knowledge. This research study is voluntary and your responses are confidential. Additionally, if you decide that you no longer want to participate in the survey, you can close out of the survey at any point. We will only record answers you have completed.
